Rickenbacker Global Logistics Park offers faster, more cost-effective service.

Geoff Manack co-founded Hyperlogistics Group Inc. nearly 35 years ago and he is as excited as ever about a prospect for his business – Norfolk Southern Corp.’s intermodal rail yard being built near the Rickenbacker International Airport.

Hyperlogistics plans to set up its headquarters in February at Rickenbacker Global Logistics Park near the intermodal yard, where trains will load and unload shipping containers. It’s a move that will put the company at the heart of the area’s logistics boom.

It also will distinguish Hyperlogistics as the first company to move into a 420-acre area being pitched for its proximity to the intermodal, said Jim Clark, senior vice president of Columbus operations for Duke Realty Corp. The 1,300-acre park is being developed by Duke, the Columbus Regional Airport Authority and Capitol Square Ltd.
